Industry

Lighting can account for up to 80% of a warehouse’s energy bill, so it must be as efficient and cost-effective as possible. The lifespan of an LED light fitting is much longer than that of an alternative which means labour costs will also be reduced given they don't need to be replaced as often. Longer-lasting and energy-efficient LED lighting from ROBUS can reduce operational costs through reduced downtime and lower energy consumption. ROBUS are very aware that industrial spaces (Warehouses, Assembly Lines, Factories) can vary hugely in size, and in particular height. A variety of fittings catering for multiple ceiling height levels are often necessary and ROBUS have a huge range of light fittings.

ROBUS fittings have been successfully installed in 40 countries for the past 34 years. Simple installation, significant energy savings and ‘fit and forget’ solutions are key for any application area and we have products to cater for all.

Manufacturing

In a production environment it is of the utmost importance that the right level of light is established in order to keep workers safe and out of harms way. In manufacturing halls exposed to heat, dust and vibration, lighting systems must be able to withstand high stresses while providing the vertical illuminance levels to support human work, and the even light distribution needed to ensure clear visibility of gauges and operator panels. Combinations of vertically and horizontally arranged, rugged, low-maintenance, high protection-rating LED luminaires excel in these ambient conditions.

Warehouses

Warehouses are designed to store goods safely and in a way that they can be located quickly and easily. The space is usually maximised with the installation of high racks to minimise storage costs. In situations like these, high bays and light fittings that can be suspended from a high ceiling are a good option. Warehouses are also usually quite large spaces and lighting them at all times of the day is a waste of energy. This is where smart lighting controls are best put to use. They will control the light so it is emitted at the right time and in the right place.

Assembly Lines

Where detailed product assembly takes place it is imperative that lighting aids staff by sufficeintly lighting all parts of the line.
