ZIIGNA LED Linear Lighting Elevates Statement Spaces

Every week, contractors and wholesalers visit us to experience our products firsthand, from innovative linear lights and durable surface fittings to contractor-designed downlights and advanced lighting solutions like LINX and Humanitas. Now our brand-new Visitor Centre has elevated this experience by providing a state-of-the-art interactive space where there are more luminaires than you can shake a stick at!

But for this case study, we’ll spotlight one specific luminaire from our Visitor Centre: ZIIGNA, our new modular linear light system which you may have missed - even if you have been in for a visit. That’s because ZIIGNA is not technically “on display” in the Visitor Centre. Instead, we chose ZIIGNA as the comprehensive lighting solution for this new statement exhibition space. Why? Well, when you want to wow, you make a ZIIGNA.

What is ZIIGNA, and Why is it a Favourite with Lighting Designers?

ZIIGNA is a modular linear LED lighting system that redefines how space is illuminated. It is made up of continuous linkable light modules for a highly customisable system. ZIIGNA was the ideal choice for the Visitor Centre, offering our lighting designers the flexibility to configure a lighting solution personalised to our space with abstract angles and shapes. This allowed us to create striking focal points, highlight key areas, and add depth and dimension to the expansive area.

1000s of Combinations with Linkable Linear Light Modules

ZIIGNA’s versatility goes beyond its modular structure. Each linkable module offers a range of customisation options in terms of style, size, shape, and finish, including black, white, or bespoke powder coating. You can even customise your lumen package and lighting direction, opting for dimming, sensor and emergency options if required. All this adaptability allows the lighting to either complement or contrast with surrounding materials depending on your preference.

We customised our ZIIGNA luminaires for the Visitor Centre by selecting the following features:

• Style: Suspended fittings were chosen because of the sloped ceiling and the overall function of the area called for uniform light.
• Size: A variety of custom-length modules were linked to create abstract angles, from 0.6m - 3.0m.
• Lumens: A variety of lumen outputs were used.
• Lighting Direction: Down only.
• Extrusion Colour: All black – it’s our colour after all!
• Colour Temperature: 4000K neutral white.
• Dimming: No dimming required.
• Emergency: No emergency required as we also installed AVIOR emergency downlights.
• Sensor: No sensors required.

Whether the goal is to create a soft, ambient glow or vibrant, task-oriented lighting, ZIIGNA’s multiple-lumen packages and dimming options provide precise control over intensity. This ensures that the right ambience is achieved for the different areas and activities of the Visitor Centre, all while maintaining visual comfort and reducing glare through its wide panel design.
