LED Group Launches ‘The Bear’ – Strategic UK Infrastructure Investment Accelerates Next Phase of Growth

108,000 sq. ft. Liverpool facility strengthens operational control, scalability and customer engagement

Liverpool, UK – March 2026 – LED Group, the building electrification platform operating through the ROBUS, FuseBox and ATC brands, today announces the launch of its new UK warehouse and Visitor Centre in Widnes, Liverpool, officially named The Bear.

The 108,000 sq. ft. facility represents a significant strategic investment in LED Group’s UK infrastructure and forms a key pillar in the Group’s long-term growth strategy.

Operational for several weeks, the site is already shipping c. 1,000 ROBUS orders per week to customers across the UK. With FuseBox set to begin shipping in April, The Bear warehouse is already fully embedded within the Group’s distribution network.

Strengthening Control and Scalability in a Core Market

Bringing UK warehousing to The Bear marks an important step in LED Group’s evolution. The move reduces reliance on third-party logistics providers, enhances operational control and provides materially increased capacity to support future growth.

The facility accommodates over 13,500 pallet spaces, with scope for additional space as volumes increase. At 108,000 sq. ft. — nearly 50% larger than the pitch at Anfield — The Bear provides the scale and flexibility required to meet growing demand across lighting, circuit protection and electric heating.

Mick G. Slein, CEO of LED Group, said:

The Bear is a foundational investment in our UK platform. It strengthens our operational capability, improves control across the supply chain and ensures we have the capacity to scale in line with our growth ambitions.

The UK is a key market for LED Group. This facility positions us to respond faster, hold more stock and support our wholesale and contractor partners with the reliability they expect.

Enhancing Customer Engagement

Alongside the warehouse, LED Group is launching a new UK Visitor Centre, scheduled to open later this quarter.

The centre will include an interactive product experience area, dedicated meeting rooms and a 50-person training facility designed to support contractor education, product launches and partner collaboration.

Mirroring the success of the Group’s Dublin Visitor Centre, the Liverpool site strengthens LED Group’s contractor-focused model by creating a professional environment for engagement, training and direct feedback — reinforcing its daily contractor-led product development approach.

Building the Platform for Long-Term Growth

The Bear has been over a year in development and reflects LED Group’s confidence in the UK market and its commitment to long-term investment.

The facility provides immediate operational benefit while creating the infrastructure required to support continued organic growth and future expansion initiatives. Slein concluded:

We are investing with discipline, building capability in key markets and ensuring our infrastructure keeps pace with our ambition. The Bear positions us strongly for the years ahead.”
